The Fresno City College Entrepreneurship program provides hands-on education for students that have entrepreneurial ideas, but need guidance in business model development, implementation and management.

The Entrepreneurship Program is curated to serve students at various stages of startup development. No matter your major, the program is designed for potential entrepreneurs and existing small business owners who require relevant training for long-term growth, sustainability and competitiveness. Whether you are a visionary with an idea, or have an established business, our program has courses you can glean value from.

The Entrepreneurship Center provides a co-work and incubation space for all students, community members and partners. Curriculum and participation in various activities, events and Demo Days brings together the elements of knowledge and relationship in a tangible way. Not sure where or how to get started?

  1. Please contact the Business Division Counselor at 559.442.8200 ext. 8787.
  2. If you are already enrolled in Fresno City College, take either BA 52 (Introduction to Entrepreneurship) or BA 51 (Business Planning and New Venture Launch).
  3. If you're still "exploring," visit with one of our entrepreneurship faculty or attend an Entrepreneur's Club meeting where you'll meet and interact other individuals who share your dream and also hear from local entrepreneurs who gladly want to help you by sharing their stories.
  4. Already own a business and want to enhance your business skills? Click here to visit other classes that will sharpen your skills like BA 38 (Operations of Small Business).

Students interested in entrepreneurship are encouraged to participate as members of the Entrepreneurs Club, using the student organization Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization (Entrepreneurs Club) which are affiliated with the international organization of the same name.

Curriculum and participation in various activities, events and Demo Days brings together the elements of knowledge and relationship in a tangible way. It is a fun and collaborative way to discover the world of the 21st century entrepreneur.
