Online Academic Counseling Services The State Center Community College District (SCCCD) offers the following Online Academic Counseling Services.   SCCCD Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Database: FAQ database can be accessed by clicking on the graphic or directly at http://counseling.scccd.edu The purpose of the FAQ Database is to provide students with a database of questions with district-wide responses and an opportunity to ask additional questions. The FAQ Database is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The database offers the most commonly asked academic counseling and guidance questions and answers Students can search for a question or ask a question and an Online Academic Counselor will respond within 48 hours, Monday – Friday. The intent of the FAQ database is to provide general academic advising. If your question requires immediate attention, please utilize our Live Help online academic counseling component or meet with a counselor in person. If you would like to speak with a Fresno City College counselor on the phone, please call (559) 442-8226 during regular business hours. The online academic counseling session is live and is a recorded session. The online academic counselors can assist all SCCCD students regardless of their main location. The hours are posted below. *Important Note: You will be timed out after 4 minutes if you do not maintain a dialogue. SCCCD Online Orientation Now Available Attention New Students - Take advantage of the brand new State Center Community College District (SCCCD) Online Orientation! It provides information to assist you in becoming familiar with the many educational programs and services offered at Fresno City College and District-wide. For Fresno City College students, successfully completing the orientation will clear the orientation hold. You can access the orientation via the internet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at: http://counseling.scccd.edu The purpose of the SCCCD online orientation will be to provide first time college students with an additional option to review the district’s policies, procedures, programs, and services. This is not intended to replace the face-to-face orientations provided by the colleges and centers. First time to college students right out of high school are still strongly encouraged to attend the Fresno City College Orientation and Registration-To-Go services offered at all feeder high schools.
