One Communication course can be used to fulfill the General Education, Oral Communication requirement for graduation or transfer. Courses used to fulfill major requirements may not be used to fulfill other General Education requirements.

Studies have shown that managers rank Communication as the number one skill needed to be a success in the business field. Any career that requires interaction with the public will be enhanced with training in Communication. If you are considering a career in any of the following professions then Communication might be the major for you: law, business, sales, education, public relations, broadcast media, mediation, real estate, government service, ministry and any other profession that requires oral communication skills.
