Immunization Program

Immunization Program

In order to qualify for immunizations*:

Students must be currently registered within the semester of services rendered, or show acceptance letters from their individual programs.

  • Bring documentation on all the immunizations you have received.
  • If you have not completed the series for [MMR, Hep B,  or Varicella] you will be referred for a titer at your cost.
  • Once the titer results are received in the Health Office, you will need to return to review the results. You may need additional immunization doses at this time.

If you need a Varicella dose(s), you will be referred to a community provider, at your cost as we are unable to provide this immunization.

Effective November 1, 2016 we will be charging $45/immunization, TB tests will continue to be free of charge.

[What we pay for the immunizations: Tdap $53.34, MMR $81.74, Hep B $73.13, Flu $9.98]

* We do use the CAIR [CA Immunization Registry] to look up students, usually with birthdates from 1991 to present.

Flu vaccine is no charge to currently registered students, and is available during flu season while supplies last.

TB tests: free of charge on M-T-W-F. You have to return 48-72 hours later to have it read. If you are just starting a Health Science program, you may need 2 TB tests (called '2-step') prior to starting your program.
