Fresno City College offers many resources to enhance and support your teaching. In addition, there are many opportunities for you to become more involved in the life of the campus community.

For information about the campus Library online, go to or find the link on the home page of FCC.
This is a highly informative site for both the student and instructor. It provides hours of operation and a Library telephone directory. It explains the Faculty Services such as placing an item on reserve for students, removing an item from reserve, and utilizing the library for class instruction.

Technology Support Services
Technology Support Services provides technology coordination and support for the campus including computer technical support for both the academic and administrative areas of the campus, technical support of Distance Education and Online Instruction, support for the campus network infrastructure including both wired and wireless networks, support and training for the campus e-mail system, printer and copier support, media services including audio/visual support and repair, and research on new emerging technologies for instruction and campus business processes.

Media Requests: Instructor requests for media can be made through AudioVisual Support, phone 559/442-4600 ext. 8206. 499-6012.  The Audio-Visual Support site provides instructions for ordering, pick-up and return of A-V equipment, including night services.

The computer help desk is your primary contact for computer related problems. The Telephone number is 5770 (on campus) and 265-5770 (off campus).

The Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) is devoted to the professional development of faculty and staff . The Center provides a variety of training, both in-person and via online video instruction.

Public Information Office

The Public Relations Office is responsible for all FCC public relations, media relations,
publications and release of public information. 

Academic Senate

The Academic Senate is the organization on campus that represents faculty in the formation of policy in “Academic and Professional Matters.” The Senate facilitates communication among the faculty, the college and district administration, the students, and the Board of Trustees. The Senate strives to promote the development and maintenance of teaching excellence within the framework of academic freedom, professional responsibility, and ethics. (Title 5 §53200)

Student Services
Take some time and become familiar with the opportunities and programs that the campus provides students. Visit the “For Students” pull down menu on the FCC Home page and you will discover the robust offerings available. Counseling services, Financial Aid, Health Center, DSP&S, and the Tutorial Center are just a few of the valuable programs available to assist with FCC student success.

Faculty Discounts

Faculty members receive a discount on tickets for music, theater, and dance performances. Check the Fresno City College website calendar for all of Fine and Performing Arts events or call the FCC Box Office at (559) 442-8221 for information on concert dates, times, and ticket prices. Tickets are available for sale at the Box Office or online.

Child Care Center

The Child Development Center is an integral part of the Child Development Department of Fresno City College. Our Center provides an ongoing and professionally updated resource for Fresno City College students to receive professional training and observe children in a quality program. We offer childcare services for students, faculty, staff, and community members as space allows. The Center is a place for children to grow, learn, play, and explore and for parents to gain support in facing the realities of childrearing in a complex world.
