Which GI Bill Chapter is right for you?

Educational Benefits for Veterans and Dependents

The following students may be eligible for veterans educational benefits:

· Veterans who were separated from active duty with the armed forces within the past 10 years.

· Spouses or children (under 26 years of age) of veterans who were either killed while serving in the armed forces or were totally and permanently disabled while on active duty.

· Widows or children of veterans who were residents of California at the time of entering the service and have a 50 percent disability may qualify for Cal Vet benefits.

· Persons in one of the armed forces reserve programs who meet the minimum requirements of a special benefit program may be entitled to receive some educational and/or financial assistance.
