The FCC Library offers the following instructional programs for students and faculty.
Library Technology Program
Library Skills Credit Courses
Research Assistance Program (RAP)
RAP offers in-depth, one-on-one appointments (lasting 50-60 minutes) with a librarian for assistance with a particular research topic. The librarian will help the student identify appropriate resources for their research topic as well as keywords and subject headings. Appointments must be requested 48 hours in advance and, unfortunately, we cannot see students after 4:00 pm M-Th or after 12:00 noon on Fridays.
Faculty Request for Class Instruction
Library instruction should be tailored to fit the needs of your class, both in regards to your assignments and to their level of research skills. Instructional sessions can include basic bibliographic instruction, library tours and/or specialized database instruction.
