A transcript requested from Fresno City College will include all courses taken within the State Center Community College District (Fresno City College, Career & Technology Center, FCC Training Institute, Clovis Community College, Reedley College, the Clovis/Herndon, Madera and Oakhurst Centers, as well as other associated sites).

Students are entitled to obtain two free official transcript copies in their lifetime; each additional copy is $5 and MUST BE PAID IN ADVANCE. Allow three (3) to ten (10) business days for processing. If you do not know if you have used your free copies, please call the Student Services Help Desk at 559-499-6070 to confirm as we cannot begin to process your transcripts until fees are paid.

Students with outstanding financial obligations will NOT be provided copies of transcripts until the hold is cleared by the Business office.

How to Request a Transcript Online

  1. Fill out Transcript Request Form. Incomplete or incorrect information will delay processing.
  2. Make payment if needed.
    • Pay online using credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover).
    • Pay in person at the Business Office using cash, check or money order, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover).

How to Request a Transcript by Mail or Fax

  1. Write a dated and signed letter (Your signature is REQUIRED) to the Admissions & Records Office that includes:
    • Your name (and any other name used while attending FCC)
    • Date-of-birth
    • Student ID number or Social Security Number (SSN)
    • Current address
    • Phone number
    • Number of copies
    • The address where your transcript should be sent. See Pick Up or Issue to a Third Party if transcript is to be released to someone other than yourself or a college.
    • Your signature

  2. Mail or fax letter with required information to:

  3. Make payment if needed.
    • Mail payment by check or money order made payable to "Fresno City College". Do NOT mail cash!
    • Pay in person at the Business Office using cash, check or money order, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover).
    • Pay online using credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover).

Sending Transcripts to CSU Fresno

Effective Immediately, CSU Fresno will only accept electronic transcripts from Fresno City College, Reedley College, Clovis Community College and the associated Centers. If you are intending to send this request to Fresno State Admissions and Records, you will need to select the Delivery Method of US Mail and type the following information in the SEND TO fields:

STATE: (leave blank)
ZIP: (leave blank)

Complete all other asterisked fields on the transcript with your personal information, following the instructions on the form.

Ordering Transcripts for Counter Pick Up

You can request to pick up your transcript at the Admissions and Rec ords counter using either of the above methods. If you are ordering them online, you will need to select the Delivery Method of Counter Pickup and type the following information in the SEND TO fields:

NAME: Sam Rambooster (enter your name)
DEPARTMENT: (leave blank)
ADDRESS: 559-555-5555 (enter the phone number we should call when transcript is ready for pick up)
STATE: (leave blank)
ZIP: (leave blank

Complete all other asterisked fields on the transcript with your personal information, following the instructions on the form.

Bring a valid Government Issued Photo ID to pick up transcript.

Ordering Transcripts to be Sent To or Picked Up by a Third Party

You may have someone else pick up your transcript for you or have it sent to a business if you have submitted a signed Third Party Release Form. This form must be signed and submitted by hand, mail, or fax. If someone is picking up a transcript for you, they must bring their Government Issued Photo ID

If you are sending the transcripts to a college or university, or yourself, you don't need to fill out the Third Party Release Form. Follow all of the other instructions above for requesting a transcript onlne or by mail or fax.


Transcript requests will not be processed until all required fees are paid. Processing takes three (3) to five (5) business days except during periods which involve holidays or at the end of each semester. At those times, students should allow at least ten (10) business days for processing. You cannot pick up transcripts on the day you request or pay for them.
