Art Space Gallery Features “Apparently Random” Exhibit
Posted Date: 2/27/2017

Fresno City College Art Space Gallery will feature “Apparently Random,” the intriguing works of Southern California artists, Lisa Diane Wedgeworth and Stacey R. Wexler, from March 13 – April 14.

The exhibition achieves innovative and energizing ways of applying a narrative to their respective artwork. Both bodies of work, through segmentation, offer the audience an opportunity to twist/enhance the story beyond a simple plot constructed with a conventional timeline. The artists engages visitors with the art of storytelling through vivid displays of imagery, text and tactile materials that compels the audience to repeat their stories to one another.

A public reception at the gallery for the artists will be held from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15. The Art Space Gallery is located at 1101 E. University Ave. on the first floor (#101) of the Art/Home Economics Bldg., immediately northeast of the main quad and the circular fountain.

Admission is free.

Art Space Gallery is open Monday & Tuesday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Wednesday & Thursday from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
