PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Automotive Technology Major (F.8051.AS)
In today's constantly changing world of automotive technology there is a continual need for trained, qualified men and women who are capable of diagnosing and repairing the variety of modern, computerized systems that are part of every late model car and truck. Fresno City College and our local automotive community work together to ensure our curriculum is on the leading edge of technology. Your commitment now will ensure a successful career in the automotive field.

Satisfactory completion of this curriculum prepares the student for entry level employment as a skilled technician in the automotive service and repair industry. Students will perform actual service and repair procedures in the automotive laboratory. This curriculum has been certified by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF).
