Training Academy specializing in the training of Public Safety personnel.
All police classes are certified by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training. All correctional/probation classes are certified by the Board of Correction’s Standards for Training for Corrections.

Robert Presley ICI - April 5 to April 16 , 2010
The POST Robert Presley Institute of Criminal Investigation (ICI) is designed to improve the effectiveness of individual investigators through training. (more information) This is a free course to sworn detectives working in California Law Enforcement.
The Dispatcher Academy
Designed for those who have been hired as, or want to become a Complaint/Dispatcher for a Public Safety Agency. This course is mandated by P.O.S.T. to be completed prior to or within one year of being hired as a dispatcher. The Dispatcher Core course is offered once a year. The extended night Dispatcher course is offered twice a year and open to the public.
The Basic Police Academy
The Basic Police Academy is required in order to be hired as a full time Peace Officer in California. The Basic Academy is offered in three different formats. (more information)
The Correctional Academy
The Correctional Academy and Probation Core Courses are offered in conjunction with local agencies and is required to work as a Correctional Officer, Probation Officer or Juvenile Counselor for a local agency. (more information)
Advanced Technical Courses
These classes are designed for In-Service personnel already employed by a Public Safety Agency. Examples of these classes are: Dispatcher Update, Academy, Interview & Interrogation, Officer Safety, Adv. Handgun, Firearms Instructor, Tactical Communication, Traffic Accident Investigation, Field Training Officer, Supervisory Course, Drug Influence, etc. (more information)
Basic Requalification Course
This 9 weekend course is targeted to those persons who have previously completed a P.O.S.T. certified basic course, or have previously been deemed to have completed equivalent training, or have been awarded a P.O.S.T. certificate, but have a three year or longer break in service as a California Peace Officer/Level I Reserve Officer. This course is also targeted to lateral entry law enforcement officers from out-of-state who are required by P.O.S.T. to attend as a part of the Basic Course Waiver Process. (more information)
The Reserve Police Academy
Designed for those who want to become reserve police officers or a reserve deputy sheriff. The FCC Police Academy is offering a Module 1 (Level 1) course once a year starting each June. Module 3 and 2 are not given at this time. (more information)
