FCC offers a variety of classes for woodwind players, including woodwind ensembles, band, orchestra, jazz ensemble and jazz combo. Whether you are planning to major in music (with instrumental emphasis) or just want to keep your “chops” up, we have a class that you will enjoy.

FCC instrumental ensembles give many performances throughout the year. The Woodwind Ensemble classes offer opportunities to read and perform many varieties and styles of woodwind music and performs at many concerts and other special events. Private lessons are offered for the music major. The FCC Concert Band has toured and performed in Europe. Our orchestra gives many performances, both on and off-campus. The jazz ensemble is a consistent award-winner. Our woodwind, band, orchestra, and jazz faculty have extensive performance experience, and include some of the finest teachers in the area.
