CAM 20 - CNC MILL PROGRAMMING & OPERATION II

PREREQUISITE: Computer Aided Manufacturing 10. ADVISORY: Eligibility
for English 125 and 126 or as a Second Language 67 and 68 and Mathematics 101 or Applied Technology 130 recommended.

Intermediate computer aided manufacturing software for machine tool programming; generation of machine G- and M-code; basic set up of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines; and shop safety and shop equipment. (A, CSU)

CAM 30 - CNC MILL PROGRAMMING & OPERATION III

Three-dimensional solid design with MasterCAM software on PC-based computers. Three- and five-axis machine tool programming, generation of G- and M-Codes, advance set up of Computer numericalControl machines and shop safety. (A, CSU)

CAM 40 - CNC LATHE PROGRAMMING & OPERATION
3 units, 2 lecture hours, 3 lab hours, (Repeats = 3)
PREREQUISITE: CAM 10.

An introduction to the operation and programming of a CNC Lathe. Programming with MasterCAM software. Tool registers for offsets, nose radius compensation, vector direction and machine safety. (A, CSU)
