COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed to train Law Enforcement officers to recognize, arrest and properly testify against persons under the influence of Alcohol, Cocaine, Hallucinogens, Marijuana, Opiates, Phencyclidine, and Stimulants. Participants are instructed in substance identification, physiological symptoms, objective signs, chemical testing, and legal issues. Course will include four hours of instruction on clandestine labs.
PREREQUISITE:
This course of instruction is directed to individuals currently employed in a Public Safety Agency.
