COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The Traffic Accident Investigation Course is a 40-hour course designed to satisfy the requirements of 40600 (A) CVC. Each trainee, after completing this course will, when presented with simulated accident scenes, be able to investigate and complete an investigation report correctly utilizing proper forms to the satisfaction of the instructor.
PREREQUISITE:
Completion of the Basic Police Academy or sworn full-time peace officer.
ITEMS NEEDED:
1. Northwestern Traffic Template & 35mm Camera and 1 Roll of Film (12 exposures) or a digital camera.
2. Drawing Compass & Scientific Calculator
