Student Services 2nd Floor Remodeling Project
The second floor of the Student Services Building will be remodeled this summer. In order to adhere to the timeline for the project, several faculty and staff will need to vacate their offices and work locations.
This relocation will take effect on Tuesday, May 27th through Friday, August 1st. Assuming all goes according to plan, we will return to the Student Services Building on Monday, August 4th.
The Counseling Department Hub, the Dean of Counseling, and the office of the Vice President of Student Services will relocate to Building A—the former Business Office.
Students wishing to see a Counselor will first check-in at Building A and may be directed to a Counselor in the Student Services Building.
The Transfer Center will be relocated temporarily to the Career and Employment Center (LI 147), and the Camino Hacia El Futuro Program will be temporarily housed in OAB 272.
Access to the second floor of the Student Services Building will be limited to the south entrance (the main entrance) as the Financial Aid Office will remain open for business. However, the doors leading to the Counseling Department Hub, Transfer Center, and VP Student Services Office will be closed. There will be limited access to the Counseling Department through the door located on the second floor southwest entrance to the Building. Appropriate signage will be posted to guide students, faculty, staff, and guests to offices in temporary locations.
