Computer Lab Schedule


Fall & Spring:

Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 8:00pm
Friday 7:30am - 2:00pm
Saturday 9:00am - 3:30pm

Summer:

Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 6:00pm


 

Computer LabThe Computer Lab is open to all students currently enrolled at FCC or any of the satellite centers. Students will need a currently stamped FCC Library Card or a current ASB card to use the Computer Lab. It is also recommended that students have a 3 ½ inch floppy disk or a flash (thumb) drive to save their work to. Work saved onto the computer’s hard drive will not be retrievable in case of power or computer failures.

A variety of software is available including MS OFFICE (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher,) Wordperfect, QuatroPro, KeyboardingPro, Gregg College Keyboarding, DineHealthy, DietAnalysis, Maple, AutoCad, SolidWorks, and Photoshop. In addition, instructors may arrange for supplemental software to be available for their students by contacting the Computer Lab Supervisor.

Laser printing is available from every station. The first twenty pages per log-in session are free and each additional page after that is $.05 (subject to change). Tutors are available to help students, but some computer skills by the student is necessary. Helpful information sheets are available for much of the available software.Students in the Computer Lab

The Internet is available on all of the computers.
CD burners and DVD players are available on many of the computers.

First time users are provided a copy of the Lab’s rules and policies and must sign that they agree to adhere to follow them. It is also the student’s responsibility to make sure they are aware of and follow all Student working on ComputerDistrict Internet and computer use policies.

The Computer Lab tutors and the Computer Lab supervisor are always available to assist.
