Getting Started

Summer Bridge

An academic program designed to increase your college success by providing a jump start to your college education! Classes are linked to promote learning in a supportive environment.

Upward Bound

Pre-college TRIO Program. It is designed to assist low income and first generation college-bound students to further their education beyond high school. Upward Bound provides assistance in acquiring the academic skills and motivation necessary to succeed in high school and transition into college!

Succeed on Campus

CARE

Provides counseling and financial resources for single parents currently receiving cash aid/TANF. We provide "over and above and in addition to" what the college and EOP&S provides to our students. All CARE students are EOP&S students, too!

Child Development Training Consortium

Provides stipends and grants for students in the Child Development or Education programs.

Extended Opportunity Programs and Services

Leon S. Peters Program

Provides an enriched educational experience to recognize and meet the needs of academically excellent students. Honors courses are innovative and reflect the instructor's’ interest in and commitment to the students’ academic, intellectual, cultural, and social development.

Promise Scholars

A supplemental component of the existing Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) program. The purpose is to strengthen the capacity of community college districts to support the higher education success, health and well-being of current and former foster youth who are enrolled in California’s community colleges.

A learning community designed to promote, inspire, and guide students upon entry, duration, and completion of their academic goals. The program purpose is to provide a support system for American Indian and Indigenous people of the Americas, but is open to all students.

Army ROTC

A college program built to produce leaders for the United States Army.

Provides services and support to assist with ensuring Fresno city college students are afforded the opportunity to transfer to a four year university at a UC, CSU, HBCU or any applicable college system.

Provides academic support and guidance to help FCC students meet the challenges in obtaining a certificate, a degree, and transferring to a four-year college.

Transfer Academy

A learning community cohort that is committed to promoting diversity and equity for greater excellence while fostering caring relationships and cross-cultural understanding and appreciation throughout the campus. Students completing the program will be eligible to transfer to the California State University or University of California.
