Attendees will be expected to purchase:

Students may purchase on their own if inclined, or the Academy will provide the following to students for use during CORE:
- Laptop
- Duty Belt
- Inner Duty Belt
- Handcuffs
- Handcuff case
- Handcuff key

Completion of this class will fulfill the Standards and Training in Corrections training requirements that all entry-level Adult Corrections Officers (ACO) must complete within their first year of employment.
There will be an Information meeting for student held approximately 2 weeks prior to the first course meeting. This meeting will start at 6:00 PM with the location of the meeting the First Responder Center.
