Ms. Papavasiliou received her bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from UCLA and worked in various engineering positions for 3M, Nortel Networks, and Spectrolab. Her professional engineering experience has been in thin film extrusion, pharmaceutical aerosol inhalers, fiber optic components for telecommunications, and chemical vapor deposition of satellite solar cells. After earning her master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Fresno State she was an optics engineer studying camera and lens quality for Pelco by Schneider Electric. She joined the Fresno State faculty in 2009. At Fresno State, Ms. Papavasiliou served as a Lecturer in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department and as Director of the Valley Industry Partnership for Cooperative Education, an engineering internship program. Ms. Papavasiliou has been a member of the Fresno City College Engineering Faculty since fall 2015.
