Registered Nursing Associate Degree Program (ADN)

Fresno City College has the largest community college Associate Degree Nursing Program in California and the second largest program in the USA. It is designed to educate students at the basic technical level of nursing practice, obtain an Associate of Science degree, be eligible to take the NCLEX (National Nursing Licensing Examination) and work in a structured health care setting.

Fresno City College Registered Nursing Program TEAS Requirement

Beginning the application period of September 1, 2015 - September 30, 2015, Fresno City College Nursing Program will only accept a maximum of two (2) attempts at passing the ATI TEAS examination with a score of 62% or higher. Student with more than two (2) attempts are ineligible to apply to the RN & LVN to RN program at FCC.

Applicants who do not pass the ATI TEAS examination on the first attempt are required to participate in remediation prior to re-testing. A period of ninety (90) days must pass between test attempts. To reiterate, the ATI TEAS examination may be taken a maximum of two (2) times in order to obtain a passing score of 62% or better with a period of ninety (90) days between attempts. Changes

The Nursing Department at Fresno City College is undergoing some exciting program changes. In order to implement these changes, we will not be accepting any new applications until Spring 2017 for the Traditional RN or for the LVN to RN programs.

During the Spring 2017 application period, applicants will be evaluated under a new Multi-Criteria process. Please continue to check online for all important updates regarding the multi-criteria process and future Application Periods.

Attempts allowed for TEAS exam for NEW Nursing applicants
