Virtual Extreme Registration guides students through the fall enrollment process
Now is the time for students to enroll for the 2020 fall semester at Fresno City College. Students needing assistance can get help with a single phone call through Virtual Extreme Registration. Virtual Extreme Registration will be held every Wednesday through August 5. Students can call 559.442.8226 anytime between 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on those days.
When calling, students will access special services available by phone or computer to complete the enrollment process. Services offered are express counseling, planning a schedule and help registering for classes, and help with financial aid. Students can also find out if they qualify for free tuition.
In the past several years, this event was held over a two day period on campus. It was forced to be offered virtually while the campus is closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fresno City College will be primarily online in the fall with a few exceptions for classes that require hands on instruction. A number of classes are still available offering students in Fresno and throughout California a great opportunity to find the classes they need.
"For many students who are looking to take online classes at any institution, it certainly makes sense to look at Fresno City College because we have a ton of options for students. We have plenty of open classes. It's an affordable option especially for first time students because of their tuition may be free," said Emilee Slater, College Relation Director.
Other colleges in the State Center Community College District will also hold Virtual Extreme Registration days.
The Virtual Extreme Registration event dates are:
- June 24
- July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
- August 5
