You said "I can," and then you did it! We congratulate you on your candidacy for an Associate degree or specialized certificate from Fresno City College. You have the distinction of graduating from the first community college in California. We are proud of you and your accomplishments, and encourage you to invite your family and friends to celebrate this important milestone in your life.
The deadline to apply for graduation is March 1, 2024. Students who qualify for graduation will be notified by the College.

Planning to Transfer? If you are transferring to a baccalaureate institution, your name and the name of the transfer institution will be included in the Commencement program. Please reply by e-mail to transfercenter@fresnocitycollege.edu. Include your name, the name of the transfer college, and your intended major.
Degree candidates are encouraged to apply for the Dean's Medallion Award by March 2, 2024. A Dean's Medallion is awarded to a student from each Instructional Division at Fresno City College whose academic achievements, service to the community, and general excellence have brought honor to the College and distinction among their peers. The successful applicant from each Division will receive a $500 scholarship award and be recognized in a special ceremony.
Diplomas and Certificates will be mailed to all graduates, free of charge, approximately 60 to 90 days after the end of the semester to the most current address on file with the College.
