Financial Aid Notice: 

The U.S. Department of Education has announced that the pause on federal financial assistance programs will not affect Title IV funding, including Pell Grants, SEOG, and Federal Work-Study. We will keep monitoring the situation and provide further updates as necessary.

The 2025-2026 financial aid applications; FAFSA and CA Dream Act Application, are available for students who want financial aid for the Fall 2025 semester! Click the link below to begin.

What is financial aid?    Financial aid helps you pay for college. This financial assistance can cover a range of expenses including tuition fees, books and supplies, housing and food, and transportation. Visit our Cost Of Attendance page to see how much college might cost you. Financial Aid may award you a combination of these various types of aid to help you with these costs:

Grants
Grants are aid you don’t have to repay

Federal Work Study
Earn money through job experience

Scholarships
Scholarships are aid you don’t have to repay

To protect students’ privacy and be in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), our department will only release information to the student who has applied for financial aid. Please bring a valid government issued photo ID with you. Without an ID we can only provide general financial aid info. Examples include:

Driver’s License
State ID
Military ID
Passport

If a student wishes to authorize the release of their information to a third-party (e.g. a parent), the student must complete and submit the FERPA Release Form. Third-party callers will be asked to provide the student's ID# and other identifiable information.
Under No Conditions Will Information Be Released To An Unauthorized Party!
