The Fresno City College Training Institute provides skilled-based training that leads to employment, employee advancement, increased productivity, and performance optimization. Training Institute programs are fee-based, and are not for college credit.

This Produce Safety Alliance (PSA) Grower Training Course is recognized by the FDA to satisfy the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) training requirement.

This course satisfies the FSMA Produce Safety Rule that states: "At least one supervisor or responsible party for your farm must have successfully completed food safety training at least equivalent to that received under standardized curriculum recognized as adequate by the Food and Drug Administration."

The FCC Training Institute provides phlebotomy training for CPT-1 licensure approved by California Laboratory Field Services. This program exceeds state standards and provides 48 hours of theory and 120 hours of clinical rotation. Gain hands-on experience of at least 100 successful venipunctures, 25 skin punctures, and 2 arterial observations. Due to the high demand, participants are chosen through a lottery.

This 268-hour program will prepare you for licensing as a pharmacy technician through the California State Board of Pharmacy. The program includes 148 hours of classroom instruction and 120 hours of clinical experience. You will prepare for an entry-level position as a pharmacy technician in a hospital or retail pharmacy.

Learn the skills needed to work as an EKG technician or EKG monitor observer. This 60-hour program is an accelerated course and is recommended for professional growth for medical professionals. Major topics include anatomy of the heart, patient contact, electrocardiography, and basic rhythm interpretation. The lab component of this course will teach you proper use of the EKG machine, procedures for Holter monitor, and stress testing protocols.
