The Fresno City College Scholarship Program has helped thousands of students attending Fresno City College achieve their educational goals. To be successful, the program depends on our donors who demonstrate their support for our college and their commitment to higher education with their generous contributions.

Awards range from $100 to $1500 per year. Specific criteria is based on academic achievement, educational and career goals, and financial need.

If you are not a Fresno City College student, you must apply for Admission to the College before you can login to Scholarship Manager.

Submission of this application will consider you for multiple scholarships available during the academic year.

Important information for incoming high school students or students with no prior college units completed or evaluated who are applying for the Fresno City College Scholarship Application for 2024-2025 The FCC Scholarship Office must receive the completed form by March 2, 2024 deadline. Next Steps if you apply online for FCC Scholarships:

For the 2024-2025 Academic year, submitted applications are reviewed during the spring/summer seasons for selection of recipients. Scholarship award notifications with details are emailed to selected recipients following this process generally by the fall semester. For additional questions, please call our Financial Aid & Scholarship Office at (559) 442-8245.

The Dean’s Medallion Scholarship awards $500 annually to a FCC Associate Degree Candidate from each Instructional and Student Services Division whose academic achievements, service to the community, and general excellence have brought honor to the college.

Candidates must have completed or will be completing their degree at Fresno City College during the Summer, Fall, and Spring semester immediately preceding to the Commencement Ceremony to be held in spring. 

  • Open: July 15, 2024
  • Deadline: September 16, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

Up to $1,450 each! Must have 24 "degree applicable" college units completed prior to fall semester of the award year and be eligible for the California College Promise Grant (formerly known as the Board of Governor's Fee Waiver). Award notification for these recipients will be sent in mid-late fall semester via district email.

You must log into your Scholarship Manager Account to apply online for the current academic year.

These scholarships are offered in Spring and Fall. Applications have specific dates to apply. Each class will receive updates including deadlines to apply. Students currently enrolled in the spring or fall FCC Police or Fire Academy may apply for these scholarships. The scholarships are awarded upon your graduation date in spring or fall.

 Establishing a Scholarship at Fresno City College

 The charitable gifts we receive from private donors provides hundreds of scholarships to our most deserving students. It also reflects their commitment to education and the success of our students. We are very grateful to all of our donors and their loyalty.

 The State Center Community College Foundation manages these charitable gifts made to Fresno City College students in such a manner as to protect the value of the gift and to adhere to the guidelines designated by the donor.

 Donors can choose to award students based on field of study, academic achievement, organizational affiliation, financial need, and/or community service work.
