Career and Employment Center

Welcome to the Career and Employment Center (CEC)

The Career and Employment Center provides a variety of resources to currently enrolled students and FCC alumni. Additionally, the CEC staff are available to assist counselors, faculty, staff and collaborate with community partners and businesses.

The CEC is now utilizing a new electronic jobs board called “jobspeaker”.

Notice about Career Employment Services during suspension of in-person classes and campus closure.

The CEC is here to support you during this time. All of our services have moved online and our friendly and knowledgeable staff are ready to assist you. You can make online appointments with the Career Counselors or the Job Developers. They will be using Zoom or phone to conduct assessments, help with resumes or other job related issues. Please email Martin Herb at to contact the office.

We know this is a stressful time for many of our students and some of you have lost your jobs due to the pandemic. We want to let you know that our Career Employment Center is available to assist you with career exploration, resume writing and job interviewing skills. We also have a job posting site called jobspeaker on our FCC web page. Many employers have told us they are in great need of additional employees right now such as Walgreen’s, Walmart, SaveMart, and Pizza Hut. There are links to multiple employers application process on the jobspeaker tab on this web page.
