American Indian Studies

Are you looking for the opportunity to study the cultures, histories, and contemporary lives of the Indigenous nations of North America? The American Indian Studies Program provides you a wide variety of classes, allowing you to enhance your knowledge and understandings of native life-ways and traditions and develop critical analysis skills. American Indian Studies is designed for American Indian and non-Indian students and helps you form an understanding of the distinct lifestyles, political and philosophical or religious systems, art, music, histories and literature developed by American Indian tribes. This program is a core component of the Social Justice Studies degree.
