CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing)

Have you ever wondered where metal, plastic, or wood parts come from? Or have you ever had an idea for a part and 3D printed it? You can learn the skills, also called “machining,” to operate and setup Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines that produce precision metal parts, instruments, and the tools involved with the manufacturing of products. The CAM program will teach you how to work with a vast array of CNC Vertical Milling Centers, CNC Lathes and CNCs with fourth and five axes, all are part of the advanced manufacturing industry which has become crucial to the U.S. economy.
