Open House

Spread the word about Fresno City College’s annual community Open House on Saturday, September 28th. Invite your friends, neighbors, and family members. This event is open to all—students, their families, community members and anyone who wants to know more about the first community college in California.

The FCC Open House is the perfect opportunity for everyone in the community to tour the campus and discover what the college offers. It will be a day full of fun, learning, and entertainment. There is no charge for the event.

Highlights of the Day


  • Medical careers orientations and tours of Health Sciences (Nursing, Radiology Tech, Medical Assisting, Respiratory Therapy, and Dental Hygiene)
  • Applied Technology orientations and tours (Auto Mechanics, Electrical Systems, Welding, and Construction)
  • FCC campus tours
  • Police and Fire Academy demonstrations and information
  • Financial Aid and FAFSA workshop
  • Entrepreneurship and other business career topics workshops
  • Resource Fair, including faculty and counselors from academic divisions, student activities and clubs, special programs and more


  • Entertainment by student performing groups
  • Student photography and art show
  • Student, faculty and alumni poetry reading
  • Kid’s activities
  • Food truck vendors
