Please join us this year for our Fourth Annual FCC Theatre Festival!

One Fee

$275 per school includes all activities in our day long Theatre Program. There are eight openings for schools on a first come, first served basis. Each school can bring up to 30 students and observers.

Performance: SCENES & MONOLOGUES!

Each school is given one scene entry slot in the Contemporary Scene performance and five individual Contemporary Monologue performance slots. Theatre Arts faculty will judge all performances. Each scene is given a 15-minute slot for performance (including set up and tear down). There is not a limit on scene participants. This year the scenes will be performed in our studio theatre space, TA-105 ( Blackbox Theatre).

Each monologue is given a 2-minute time limit (with a 15 second grace period). Theatre Faculty will give a critical response to each performance. Students cannot compete in Contemporary Scenes, Monologues and Tech Olympics as the times will overlap. Each section is designed to serve different areas of strength to give as many students as possible a chance to participate.

Tech Olympics: A Tech Team of four students from each school can compete in four event areas such as: Costume Quick Change, Lighting Focus, Prop Quick Change and “Sew On-A-Button”. You must register ahead for a time slot.

Other Activities

For example:

FCC Student Actors Workshops: such as “What’s My Type?” Learn something new about the way you might be seen through the eyes of a casting director!

We will host Improv Open Play where students can sign up to take the stage or just watch others play. This is not a competition-based activity.

At 2 pm, we invite all schools to a special performance of our FCC production of

THE LITTLE PRINCE
