Second Annual State of the College Address: Wednesday 7, 2019

Fresno City College President, Dr. Carole Goldsmith will host the Second Annual State of the College Address on Wednesday, August 7, 2019.  The event will begin with breakfast at 7:15 a.m. in the East Courtyard of the historic Old Administration Building.  The State of the College address will take place in the OAB Auditorium beginning at 8:15 a.m.

President Goldsmith is providing a unique opportunity for community, business, and educational leaders to come together as she shares California’s first community college’s rich history, common goals, and accomplishments over the last year. Attendees will learn of FCC’s triumphs and achievements in the classroom and outside of the classroom and how they impact our students and our community.

Joining President Goldsmith is the new Associated Student Government president DeRon Walker who will outline various student initiatives and provide a unique look into student life today.  The President will also honor three dedicated individuals who have worked tirelessly to move the college’s mission forward. Three Ram Champion Awards to individuals and businesses that have worked tirelessly to move the College’s mission forward will also be awarded.

Doors will open at 7:00 a.m., Breakfast begins at 7:15 a.m. and the State of the College Address begins at 8:15 a.m. Parking is available in Lots A. B. and C near the corner of Van Ness and McKinley avenues.  Additional parking is available in Lot M, north of the Gym on College Avenue.
