Fresno City College Volleyball Standout Karina Rodriguez Named to Prestigious AVCA Players to Watch List
Fresno City College volleyball player Karina Rodriguez has been named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Two-Year College Players to Watch list for the upcoming fall 2025 season.
Rodriguez is one of just 12 student-athletes nationwide to be included on the list, with only two selections from the state of California.
"In the national world of college volleyball, this is a big deal," said FCC head coach Kieran Roblee.
A returning sophomore, Rodriguez was a second-team All-Central Valley Conference selection last year. She played a key role in leading the Rams to a state championship runner-up finish and the program's 17th consecutive conference title.
FCC will be at home on September 19 for the Coast vs Central Valley Crossover Quad, hosted by FCC at 1:00 p.m.
