Event Highlights: Resource Fairs, Purple Thursday and Safety Training
The college, in collaboration with campus departments and local organizations, will host multiple events aimed at empowering survivors and promoting healthy relationships.
Domestic Violence Awareness Resource Fairs
Connect with crucial on- and off-campus support services related to domestic and dating violence, mental health, legal aid, housing assistance and more. All are welcome to attend and learn how to raise awareness and provide education.
- October 14: FCC Main Campus – Veterans Square, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- October 15: West Fresno Center (WFC) – Lobby, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Purple Thursday
October 16 is Purple Thursday, a campus-wide call to action. Attendees are encouraged to wear purple throughout the day to show support for survivors and help start conversations that matter during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Dating Safety 101 Presentation
Join FCC Title IX and the SCCCD Police for an informative presentation focusing on recognizing healthy relationships, identifying warning signs of abuse, and learning essential safety strategies. This session will also cover students' rights and available resources.
