Anthropology

Have you ever wondered what it means to be human? Anthropology is the holistic study of humans, past and present. In anthropology, we explore and address the basic questions about the nature of culture, the origins of humans, and human variability. You will discover the complexity of cultures across all human history – 99% of which is unwritten – as well as learn about the amazing evolutionary story of our species. Courses are offered in all four major areas of anthropology: biological anthropology, cultural anthropology, archaeology, and linguistics. The program also offers an Archaeological Technician certificate of achievement in which you can receive hands-on training in field and laboratory work.
