Are you curious about why people think, feel, and act the way they do and interested in how scientists investigate thoughts, emotions, and behaviors? Did you know that psychologists study a broad range of behaviors and mental processes, not just mental disorders? In the psychology classes that you can take at Fresno City College, you'll learn how our brains influence behavior, how cultural and societal factors affect individual behaviors, how memories form, how personalities develop, how mental disorders are diagnosed and treated, how research data are statistically analyzed, and much more! As a psychology major, you will acquire skills and abilities that are transferable to a wide range of different occupations and make you well-suited for management and leadership roles.
