All services are free to currently enrolled Fresno City College students. Drop-in sessions are welcome, or you can make an appointment. Sessions are usually one hour, but if you need more time or less time, we are here for you until we get the job done. We are here to help you succeed. We also have a new feature called the WRC Lounge. You can study with friends or just hang-out until you need tutoring help. Call or Zoom in anytime we are open. We look forward to seeing you!
Students of all subjects are welcome at Fresno City College’s Writing and Reading Center. The Writing and Reading Center exists to empower students through one-on-one peer tutoring. The WRC is a safe, equitable, and anti-racist environment for students to develop their academic, intellectual, and personal potential. The WRC provides tutoring in all aspects of academic writing and reading including brainstorming, researching, drafting, revising, reading comprehension, and study skills, with the goal of fostering independent learning and student success.
The Writing and Reading Center will engage in a partnership with the student body, faculty, and staff to uplift and transform students’ lives and communities through tutoring and holistic support.
