Dr. Orfi obtained her M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech. She has been actively involved in research in different areas, including K-12 and undergraduate engineering education, and has been involved in several outreach efforts to enhance the pathway to engineering education in the Central Valley. She has been an instructor and lecturer for several years, including at Fresno State and UC Merced. Before obtaining her graduate degree, she worked in industry for seven years, and has worked on and managed several national and international projects.
