Latino Faculty and Staff Association
Mission Statement
The Latino Faculty & Staff Association is an educational organization whose purpose is to be an advocate for the Latino issues in higher education which also includes the educational welfare and advancement of the Latino community. Our Goal is to promote the social and cultural dimensions of Latino history, heritage, and culture as it relates to education.

Membership
Membership is open to all Fresno City College and SCCCD employees and retirees. The cost of annual membership fees are $36.00. A payroll deduction of $3.00 will occur monthly. Please complete the voluntary payroll deduction form and email to: leslie.mabray@scccd.edu

Meetings
Meetings generally take place at 5-6pm on the 2nd Thursday of each month. Meetings will alternate between zoom and in-person.

Student Scholarships
There are several LFSA supported scholarships students are encouraged to apply for through the FCC Scholarship Office. Two students for each scholarship will be awarded $500.00 each.

Latino Graduation Celebration
The Latino Graduation Celebration is a bilingual/bicultural event that celebrates the accomplishments of students who have completed all transfer, degree, and certificate requirements for the current academic year.
