Physical training clothing is required for the physical conditioning portion of the class. PT clothing includes black shorts and black tee shirt with probation logo. If you have questions, please contact the academy at 559.442.5907.

The Juvenile Correctional Officer CORE course is designed to meet STC regulations for entry level training for county level Juvenile Institution staff.
While not required, it is strongly recommended that you are currently employed as a Juvenile Correctional Officer.
