Serving as a resource to local business, industry, and non-profits, Fresno City College assists area employers by providing quality, low-cost, efficient employee skill upgrades through worksite, open‐entry, evening, and online classes. Professional development is available in a variety of technical and soft‐skills topics. Additionally, our faculty are always in search of local industry leaders to serve on one of many advisory committees, serve as a guest lecturer, or to provide student internships, job shadow or employment opportunities. Internships
Employer participation in internships enables you to try out the latest talent in your industry through an internship. We have students in over xx fields of study. Hosting an FCC Student Internship is a cost-effective workforce strategy for finding the perfect match for your company. Employers interested in providing student internships, please submit the following form and we will respond.
Employer Brand Building Events: Through participation in a campus job fair, career discussion panel, or informational interviews, Fresno City College connects you directly to students that are eager to learn about your company and your industry. Additional activities include simple worksite tours or mentorship experiences. All are quick events to build your employer brand in the community that FCC arranges and delivers for you.

Fresno City College receives special funding to support employers in designing a highly effective apprenticeship program to groom your workforce talent. Let us collaborate with you on identifying a potential apprenticeship experience that works best for your business.
Contract & Worksite Education
Fresno City College works closely with many government, public, and private entities to provide contract education both for credit and not for credit. This education can be delivered in a variety of venues including on your worksite, on campus, online or an alternate location that meets the employer and academic needs. We provide training in a variety of industries and can customize your training.
Incumbent Worker Training
From soft-skills (21st Century Skills) to technical computer instruction, Fresno City College proudly assists employers in providing incumbent worker training in a variety of industries.
