Application Process
This is a confidential search—all inquiries, nominations, and applications will be held in the strictest confidence. To apply for this position, please submit all the materials listed below by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2026 . Application materials will only be accepted electronically.
The following items must be submitted:
- State Center Community College District Application, which can be accessed online at SCCCD Career Opportunities.
- Transcripts (unofficial copies accepted) that indicate your conferred degree(s) that support the minimum qualifications. Official transcripts will be required from the successful candidate.
- Cover Letter (no more than six (6) pages) noting how your qualifications and experience prepare you to address the Ideal Characteristics described on the Position page.
- Resume outlining your educational background, professional experience, professional activities, and other pertinent information.
- List of 8 Professional References*: Include names, titles, phone numbers, e-mail addresses.
- Two (2) supervisors (including one current supervisor)
- Two (2) direct reports (including a support staff member)
- Two (2) faculty members
- Two (2) community members
*References will not be contacted without the candidate's permission.
