In Person Extreme Registration

Dec 15, 2022

The Spring semester at Fresno City College begins January 9 and students are busy enrolling in classes.  But to assist those who still need some help putting together a schedule, the college will hold two in-person Extreme Registration days on Tuesday, January 3 and Wednesday, January 4 from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. each day in the FCC Library. Parking is free.

Extreme Registration is a one-stop shop to help students enroll for the Spring 2023 semester. Students will find in-person, online and hybrid (both online and in-person) classes available.

A bounty of special services will be available to students including:

  • Express counseling
  • Assistance with financial aid and applications (Tuition may be free for eligible students.)
  • Registration
  • Business services.

Students do not need to pre-register or RSVP.  Both days will also include a resource fair and live radio remotes. New students must complete the online admission application at least two days prior to Extreme Registration at www.fresnocitycollege.edu/apply. No COVID-19 vaccination requirements are in place.

“We are very excited to see that more students are choosing to enroll at Fresno City College this spring semester as we push to meet pre-COVID enrollment numbers.  We are offering a number of great incentives to students who are returning to classes since the pandemic began or who are now starting their college journeys.  We invite students to explore our classes and enroll this spring,” said Dr. Robert Pimentel, FCC President.

This spring students can look forward to:

  • Book Vouchers—Book vouchers for up to $300 for full-time students will be available for use during the spring semester.
  • Free Parking—A new parking structure near Blackstone and Weldon is now open giving students more than 900 additional parking spaces on campus. No permits will be required through the Spring and Summer semesters.
  • Free Bus Passes— The Fresno Area Express (FAX) transit system and Fresno City College will again be offering FREE bus passes for FCC students who have an Associated Student Body Card (ASB).  Students can purchase the card beginning January 3 in the Business Office (located in Old Administration Building) or the Student Activities Office (located in the Cafeteria Building) for $5.
