Oftentimes certain blocks of text are repeated on college publications. Some of these are required, depending on the type of publication. Here are the official versions of repeating text elements.
For many college publications, such as press releases, it is customary to end with a general statement about Fresno City College. Below is the accepted boiler plate description of Fresno City College.
Fresno City College was established in 1910, becoming California’s first community college and ultimately changing the course of college education in California. The campus encompasses over 100 acres with historic buildings, a diverse student population and more than 20,000 students enrolled during the academic year. FCC is a college of the State Center Community College District, which is part of the California Community College System with 112 community colleges. The college offers more than 100 associate in Art and Science degrees and more than 40 two-year degree tracks in education, law, military service, medicine, performing arts, humanities, public service and more.
The following is the approved ADA statement that should be included in all materials relating to employment at Fresno City College. The statement is also printed on the bottom of the Fresno City College letterhead.
