Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC)
ZTC classes are a great way to save money on textbooks.
When you enroll in a ZTC class, you do not need to buy a textbook. Instead, all reading materials will be available online for free via Canvas.
ZTC classes are marked in Self Service with the icon below:
Low Textbook Cost (LTC)
Low Cost Textbooks (LTC) classes have a combined required textbook cost of $40 or less through the campus bookstore.

Find ZTC and LTC Classes in Self Service
You can find ZTC classes in two ways:
- Search as usual: Browse for classes as you normally do, and look for the ZTC icon in the search results.
- Filter by ZTC: Select Zero Cost Textbook in the Course Types section.
